WHAT IS NATCON?

Natcon is National Convention of JCI Philippines. On its 70th year, JCI Philippines National Convention will be staged for the first time in the City of Majestic Waterfalls – Iligan City on October 4-6, 2018. This will be the biggest convention event in the history of Iligan City. Dubbed as “KASADYA sa ILIGAN Natcon 2018. This annual gathering of more than two-thousand delegates all over the country with international delegates from the ASEAN region is to be hosted by JCI Iligan Inc, and the rest of the 4 chapters in Central Mindanao. The event is also highly supported by the Iligan City Government, Office of Congressman Siao, Department of Tourism, and the Province of Lanao Del Norte.

Recognized as the Philippines largest annual conference of professionals and businessmen, this year’s gathering offers the best opportunity to showcase Iligan City and its potentials including power-house trainings, formal events, business-to-business networking event, night parties, golf tournament, shootfest, football and basketball tournament, Miss JCI Philippines, community awareness programs and projects and the much awaited Temiong Awards.

JCI Philippines is an affiliate of the Junior Chamber International. The JCI Movement started on October 13, 1915 by one active citizen who had a passion for positive change. Since then, millions of other young active citizens have united to create sustainable impact in their communities. Each year of the JCI Movement takes us one step closer to better communities and a better world. This year, JCI Philippines also celebrates the 70th JCIP National Conventional convention.

The Host

JCI Iligan, Inc. is the lead host of Natcon 2018. Since 1951, JCI Iligan already produced distinguished members both in business and in government. The other 4 chapters are also taking the lead role in organizing special events for Natcon 2018.
